Christmas 2012

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year!  We are so blessed to be able to celebrate with all of our parents, siblings, grandparents, and nieces and nephews.  We even got to spend time with some cousins and aunts and uncles too.  We started official celebrations on the 23rd at Gigi and Grandad's house.  It was perfect!  The kids (Alyssa, Kayla, Asher, and Allen) made Christmas cookies with Gigi and made Christmas crafts.  We all ate dinner together, watched Christmas movies, drove around looking at Christmas lights, snacked alot, and spent the night.  Allen wanted to stay in the game room on a pallet with his cousins.  I stayed on the couch in there too, but it was kinda his first sleepover.  The next morning we had our traditional Christmas brunch, my favorite meal of the year, and then opened presents.  It was complete joy to watch the kids opens gifts.  They left very spoiled and hadn't even had a santa visit or parents' gifts yet.  Even with several festivities ahead, I felt truly blessed with family and celebrating the birth of Christ.
