We welcomed our precious, precious Isabel Michele into our family on February 18, 2015 at 12:25 pm. She weighed in at 7lbs 11ozs and was 20 inches long. She has lots of dark hair and big beautiful blue eyes. We're already in love!!! Isabel was scheduled to be delivered that morning via c-section by Dr. Tricia Shimer, who also delivered Allen and Juliana. All went according to plan, except that I was actually in labor when I checked into the hospital. My contractions were about 6 minutes apart. I appreciate Miss Isabel letting me know that she was ready and the timing was right! Even though I was in labor, we took Allen and Juliana to Spanish Schoolhouse according to plan (except that Juliana got carsick on the way to school) and got in all our pictures. However, we didn't stop to get Christian breakfast on the way to the hospital even though he requested a drive through McDonalds. Dr. Shimer and my delivery nurse, Lydia, were so great. She changed my medication from last time, so the overall experience was much, much better! I was much more clear-headed and not nauseous. Gigi and Grandad were there through the whole process and the rest of the Inman family came that afternoon when we were settled in a room. They brought Allen and Juliana from school. I was a bit nervous about how they would react, but it was beautiful and so, so sweet! They both immediately wanted to see and hold their newborn sister. They were full of hugs and kisses for her! I am amazingly blessed!!!
