Juliana - 11 months

As I was writing the title of this post, I realized that this will be Juliana's last monthly baby post.  Next month will be consumed with her birthday, and after that, I don't post on the 6th of each month but rather just with events and occasions.  Another indicator that her first year is coming to a close.  I know that so many good things are yet to come, and I know that she will be a baby for a little longer, but not much.  I blinked and a year has almost passed.  She is so incredible and has done so much in the 11 months.  We are infinitely thankful for her!  She is playing more and proving to be funny and tough!  She'll take a hit and keep on going.  And, she won't give up the toy she wants no matter who is tugging on the other side!  I prayed for her to be strong and independent; I was just expecting to see these qualities develop over time and emerge as she grew up, but I see them pretty clearly now!  She is also showing some of her sweetness as she reaches for people and pats backs.  She is eating a ton right now!  She often out-eats Allen and has passed me up on a couple of occasions too.  Ms. Devon said she weighed her last week and was 25 pounds!  Juliana is very social and interactive and communicates well.  She "talks" a lot, uses some signs, and doesn't seem to have a problem telling us what she needs or wants.  We all adore her!  I love watching Allen and her together.  He calls her, "B.B.s, my darling, my girl, my baby" and loves on her all the time!  He is so tolerant of her trying to always play with him and his toys.  I'm so thankful for the beginning of their sweet relationship.  Praise God for Juliana Lenora!
