Juliana - 5 months

Juliana is 5 months old today! This is such a fun stage.  She is full of smiles and giggles, and looks so interested in the world and people around her.  She laughs at funny faces and noises, especially from Allen.  She is doing her best to go, go go.  She can sometimes roll over from tummy to back and loves to bounce on your legs or in the bouncer.   She can sit up with a little help.  She is getting used to the high chair but hasn’t had any food yet.  She is still nursing every 3 hours, day and night.  Sometimes her hair sticks straight up, but I’ve been trying to train it to lay to the side; either way, she is always beautiful!  We get the most comments about her pretty eyes.  She is a happy baby but lets us know what she wants and when she wants it.  Right now she is in 12 month pajamas but is usually wearing  6-9 month clothes.  She can grab and hold toys and wants everything in her mouth.  She is beginning to manipulate toys to get what she wants where she wants it.  She likes her paci to sleep and when she’s tired but not usually any other times.  Getting to sl

*I wrote each monthly update in Word on the exact day (6th of each month) and saved it on the computer to add pictures and post the the blog later.  When I came back to this one, I see that it is left undone, not just mid-sentence but mid-word.  I will let that speak for itself.  It makes me laugh now, even though I'm sure I wasn't at the time. These times are precious and very busy.

9/15/13 - Juliana rolled from tummy to back after Asher's birthday party.
9/16/13 - She sat up by herself for a few seconds on the bed.
9/24/13 - Allen was making Juliana laugh tonight by making silly faces.  She was cracking up!
