San Antonio - Wildlife Ranch

We spent June 29-July 3 in San Antonio for our 1st family vacation and had a blast!  A friend's wedding was planned for the 30th, and I really wanted to go.  When she graciously offered to let Allen come too, a real vacation was born.  The only other time we've spent the night away from home has been at my parents for Christmas and for a family reunion about 18 months ago, so I was a little nervous how the long car ride, hotel stay, busy and different schedule, etc. would go.  Concerns were squelched on the way down when I told Allen he needed to take a nap in the car today, and he said ok, closed his eyes, and slept for 3 hours!  The rest of the trip was pretty much as ideal.  Our first stop was the drive-through Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.  Allen, of course, loved the petting farm with the goats and sheep, and it got even more fun during the drive through part!
