Getting Ready for Baby Juliana

We can't wait for Juliana to arrive, and it's almost time!!  Pictures are of Allen reading to Juliana (grey baby bump), milk expires on Juliana's upcoming birthday, snuggled up with Juliana (baby bump), getting duckies ready for Juliana, my new mommy necklace, Allen's new big brother book, and toes pretty and pink for Juliana's arrival.  We're excited and ready to meet you baby!

Allen's 3 1/2 "birthday" celebration

It's Allen's half-birthday, and we want to celebrate!  We're lucky to have sweet friends who'll share in the fun on a Tuesday!  Chuck E. Cheese fun with Jack, Sophie, Annabelle, and Nathan.  When we stopped by Kroger to pick up some cookies, Allen asked for a dolphin balloon; I obliged for his half-birthday gift.  Also, a cute picture of a Friday after-school froyo date with Sophie. 

Fun with Friends

Building with Grandad

Allen loves to build projects at Home Depot and Lowe's with Grandad.  This time Asher and Mommy got to join in the fun.  Also, a picture of Mommy holding Allen with Juliana still in my tummy. 

MTE Baby Shower

Mark Twain Elementary Staff blessed me with a beautiful shower!  I resisted the planning of the shower, but the sweet staff insisted.  The special ed department and my hall put in lots of effort to make it extra special.  There was beautiful glass dishes and serving sets, teacups, intricate flower cupcakes and special decorations.  Everything was girly, sweet, and perfect!  What a treat!  And then, they also showered me with gifts for our baby Juliana.  How lucky we are!

Disney on Ice

We joined friends from Rachael's to see the Disney on Ice show.  The girls called it the princess show, but there were lots of things for boys too - even Daddy approved.  Besides the treats and friends, Allen's favorite part of the "show" was the Zamboni at intermission.  He stood up, screamed, and watched every second that it cleaned the ice.  I think we have Caillou to thank for that.  
 
 

New Car

With another baby on the way, we need room for two car seats.  Christian finally convinced me to sell the Corolla and get something bigger.  After much research, debate, and consideration, we chose the Toyota Highlander.  I love the color and the space.  Hope it works for our new family!
