Spring Break - Weekend One

Spring Break 2012 was one of the best weeks ever! We had so much fun with Allen and got to visit many friends and family. The first weekend Alyssa and Kayla stayed with us on Saturday and even spent the night. Allen was thrilled to have "Kaykay-AlyssaMae" to play with for so long. They made "forts" outside and inside, played at Chuck E Cheese, went to Yogurtland, and played until they couldn't keep their eyes open. Allen is spoiled to have such sweet cousins!

Big Love for Our Little Love

Valentine's day was so much fun this year! Why? Because of Allen, of course. He is old enough to know what is going on, have a Valentine's party at school, and enjoy his treats. We bought heart balloons and bubbles to give to Allen's friends at school. Before thinking this completly through, Allen and I headed to the store to pick up the balloons, in my Corolla. After alot of laughter, we got all the balloons in the car, but they completely filled up the interior. Allen was totally surrounded and a little wide-eyed, but we drove home and as I would peek through to check on him at the lights. It ended up being worth it then next day on Valentines; all the kids loved their treats, and it was great fun! Allen not only received cards and treats at school but also got pretty spoiled from Mommy and Daddy with books, playdough, markers, stickers, puzzels, and his most prized gift - scissors. He called "GigiDandad" to tell them "I got A LOT of toys!"

2012!

The first couple of months of 2012 have flown by, so it's time for a quick update and a few pictures! 2012 marks the official end of my grad school and start of my career as a speech-language pathologist. I am back to working full time and am super busy learning the new job and keeping up with everything else going on. I'm working for LeTourneau & Assc., which is a contract company. I'm currently contracted to work at Dodd Elementary in Wylie, and I love it there! The school is great and the kids are fun. The caseload has a lot of variety and is sure to keep me on my toes. (As if Allen doesn't do a good job of that already!) Christian is continuing to work at Nationwide and has been mostly doing projects at Erikson, which keeps him busy but close to home, so we like it! Allen is continuing at Rachael's Superstar Preschool in Woodbridge. We couldn't be happier! He is staying healthy, learning everyday, and having lots of fun! He continues to amaze us with his rapid development, language, and humor! He keeps us smiling!
