Evidence that at 8 months old Allen is now a big boy:

- He got his first boo-boo (from trying to crawl and bopping his forehead on a metal baby gate)

- He's over 21 pounds

- He had his first moment of true mischievousness (somehow unscrewed the lid to my makeup, was digging in it, and had it everywhere!)

- Sometimes, he thinks it's funny to play instead of nap.

- We had to lower his crib mattress.

- He wears size 18 months clothes.

- When he wants down while I'm holding him, he squeezes his legs and wiggles.

- He purposely does things to make me laugh!

We are enjoying every moment with him and trying to soak it all in, because he is changing super fast! I think we are the luckiest parents in the world.

All Allen, All the Time

Daddy has since confiscated and hidden the doll, but Allen liked to see another baby like him.

"Aunt Jill took me swimming, and I like it!"
